what then do these 3 verses mean ?

FIRST:/   What then do these 3 verses mean ?

1./  1 John 3:6 - Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
2./    1 John 3:9 - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
3./    1 John 5:18 - We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not

ONE:/   As long as I have been opposing this FALSE DOCTRINE of [Christian sinners] myself using only The WORD of GOD (KJV) to dispell this heretical position held by those who claim to be Christians/Christian believers saved by grace and faith and the WORD of God........ Not one proponent of this FALSE DOCTRINE has ever been able to show/prove it using only God's Word; Nor do they ever dare attempt to explain these 3 verses, and, instead, most will state and tell you right off ["they do not know what they mean, so, don't ask"!] They like to use their own conceptions and means of reasoning to logically infer and rationalize their incorrect positions claiming that Christians and/or believers remain sinners and continue to sin and therefore continue on in sin helplessly bound thereby and bound to always continue to sin as long as they live....however, NONE/NOT EVEN ONE to date has ever been able to show The WORD of God that proves nor substantiates such an heretical position [irregardless of what these 3 verses say, mean or don't say or mean].

TWO:/   The simple version ~

A./   1 John 3,6,9; and 5:18; mean exactly the very same thing that brother Paul has stated, shown and taught in Romans 7:17,20;

Romans 7:17; Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Romans 7:20; Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

And oh how they baulk and cry out at this Word ! (not knowing the great and utter, far reaching significance hereof these verses; not knowing nor understanding what they really mean).

B./   What then are these verses really saying: what do they "really" mean ?

    1./   The more significant and more telling questions are......

        a./   What does the word [ "I" ] refer to ?

Romans 7:17; Now then it is no more [ "I" ] that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

and,
        b./   Where exactly does "sin" reside ?

Romans 7:17; Now then it is no more I that do it, but  [sin that dwelleth in me.] yes, but, where in me ?
ANS.    I./   "in our √members"
Romans 7:5; For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

            II./  What then does the word "members" mean ? e.g.s

James 3:6; And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

James 4:5; Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

                       What about "lusts"
1 John 2:16; For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

                      What about " the lusts of other things "
Romans 1:25; Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator

Mark 4:19; And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

this world

the "whole world" within our heart..........
Ecclesiastes 3:11;  He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

every thought, feeling, sense, experience, mode, temperament, behavior, manner, characteristic, aspect, facet, is a "spirit" ! in which we walk transitively every day !

1 Chronicles 22:15; Moreover there are workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.

riches  Mark 4:19;

power Matthew 16:26; Mark 8:36; Luke 9:25;

                      What about "loves"
1 John 2:15;  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

mother,
father,
son,
daughter,

Matthew 10:36-38;

36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

2 Timothy 3:4; Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

                      What about incontinency
1 Corinthians 7:5 - Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Romans 7:8; .... all manner of concupiscence.

                       What about "other gods"
Exodus 20:3; Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Deuteronomy 5:7; Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

Exodus 20:23; Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

Deuteronomy 6:14; Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;

Philippians 3:19; Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Matthew 15:11; Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

James 4:1; From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

However,

    2./   It is James 1:13-15; that is even the more telling !
James 1:13-15;
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is 1drawn away of his own lust, and 2enticed.
15 Then 3when lust hath conceived, 4it bringeth forth sin: and 5sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

(oh how great and utter, far reaching significance hereof this verse; James 1:13-15;[Romans 11:33 - O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!]  )

        a./   from and/or with James 1:13-15; we are given a device whereby to observe, know and learn THE SYNDROME OF SIN which resides within the fleshly ethos of the human being. As follows,.......

Understand that this image is serving to be that ideographic representation used to depict and observe the inner aspects of THE SYNDROME OF SIN which resides within the fleshly ethos of the human being. The outermost square oriented region represents the human being, body. And the concentric circles represent the internal dichotomy of the ever descending and/ascending levels represented here [for the purposes of this illustration] as regions of our basic inner constitution. Next.

        b./   However, this is only the 1st part of the whole problem, for, when we go even further and/or deeper into it we find that ~

Proverbs 4:23; Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Matthew 6:21; For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. = the place of wisdom  = the hidden place

Luke 12:34; For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Matthew 12:34; O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Matthew 12:35; A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Luke 6:45;A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Matthew 15:16-20;
16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Mark 7:18-23;
18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

2 Corinthians 10:5; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Romans 2:14-16;
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Hebrews 4:12; For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

So that, it is fundamental and necessary to delve deeper and look further into "the heart".

deep water

both good and evil

in the godly ethos of the heart, there is the Spirit bearing witness with our spirit !

in the ungodly, there is Satan, iniquity and original sin. It is from here [within this noumenal ethos of sin] [which is Satan] [which is supernatural and metaphysical] that [4sin in our members originates]. Therefore, Paul is thus saying,......

Romans 7:17; Now then [it = the originator of sin] is no more [I] that do it, but [sin = in the ungodly, there is Satan, iniquity and original sin. It is from here [within this noumenal ethos of sin] [which is Satan] [which is supernatural and metaphysical] that dwelleth in me. So that,

evil is present with[in] [me = each and every one of us]. And,

Not only is evil present, also good !

Genesis 3:22; And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: i.e. The Spirit {God = light, love, truth, righteousness, hope, faith, and, most importantly, the very thing itself = noumenal good = that "only one good" !] "there binding the break of morn." this is the path where wisdom dwells ! As also "love strong as death" ! It is here that the saved are hidden ! It is here that they have been translated, wherein their spirit now resides ! in that which is not corruptible; wherein there is no sin ! And, 1 John 3:5;...and in him is no sin. This is Christ !  And, is that seed ! Where no thief and nothing that maketh offence may enter in! This is that kingdom of God within you !

Psalm 118:23; This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

Zechariah 8:6; Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the Lord of hosts.

Then, it was said to me, and I said.....

Isaiah 38:16; O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.

Ezekiel 16:43; Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord God: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.

Romans 8:37; Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

    3./  The Heart

        a./   Now, we are going to go deepest inside, within the very core regions ~
what is in the core ?

Here then we have come to the origin of "sin" that is said to reside "in us"

"you" "your spirit" "your psyche" used to be here also [when you were not saved] !
This depiction represents when "you" "your spirit" "your psyche" was resident within iniquity; i.e. when you were unsaved ~
Ephesians 2:3; Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

1 Corinthians 6:11; And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

What this washing means..........
1 Corinthians 6:11; And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Ephesians 5:26; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Titus 3:5; Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Hebrews 10:22; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Psalm 119:9; Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

John 15:3; Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

1 Peter 1:23; Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

2 Timothy 3:15; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

James 1:21; Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

1 Timothy 4:16; Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

So that,

        b./   However, Instead, now you are here ! in the godly side !,

once translated i.e. sanctified [set apart] [hid] i.e. once saved i.e. Romans 8:9 - But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Ephesians 5:8; For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
and,

Colossians 1:13; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

2 Thessalonians 2:13; But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

1 Peter 1:2; Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Romans 8:9; But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

        c./   And, this is what it means to be Christian !  This is what it means to be "sinless" !

Not that * we have no sin; [not that we **have not sinned] not that ***the creature will not sin again until finally liberated unto the glorious liberty: none of these we say nor profess, claim nor teach.

However, what we do say, profess, claim and teach is that ****[if] the creature sins again and/or continues in sin [then] Romans 7:17,20; Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. i.e. it's the creature under impetus of sin, not "the spirit" that sins.

        d./   This makes all the difference !

Thus and therefore and hence,

    4./   The more significant and more telling questions are......

        a./   What does the word [ "I" ] refer to ?
 Answer =[ "I" ] refers to and means "your spirit" !

and,
         b./   Where exactly does "sin" reside ?
Answer = sin resides in the ungodly side of the human being, "in the flesh" "in the ungodly orientation of "our members" under impetus of sin.hence
