BASICS 2, explanations

EXPLAINING CONVERSION UNTO SALVATION.......

FIRST:/   Jesus was manifest to take away our sins;
1 John 3:5;  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
and,
that's exactly what He accomplished and did !
anyone that teaches /says differently/otherwise is a liar ! disobedient, ignorant, carnal, sinful being.

ONE:/   synonymous verses;

Psalms 103:12 - As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Revelation 1:5 - And from Jesus Christ, who is the                 faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,....

A./       this made us perfect

Hebrews 7:19 - For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Hebrews 10:14 - For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

B./      this made us complete in Christ
Colossians 2:10 - And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

C./     ALL THINGS become new......
2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Corinthians 5:16; Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh:
i.e.
2 Corinthians 4:18;  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

D./      i.e.   we have been "translated"

Colossians 1:13; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

i.e.        we have been "regenerated"

Titus 3:5;  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

i.e.

Romans 8:9;  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

Colossians 3:3; For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Galatians 2:20; I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Romans 8:10;  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Romans 8:11;  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

So that,

E./   it ought to be perfectly/become perfectly obvious and clear that, we are not here dealing with natural things; and, instead are dealing with "supernatural things" !  Galatians 3:3;  Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Which things,

1./   The natural mind/man; and, the carnal mind/man do not, indeed, cannot know nor understand.

Romans 8:7;  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

1 Corinthians 2:14;  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither an he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Colossians 2:17-19;
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

1 Timothy 1:7;  Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

2 Timothy 3:7;  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Jude 1:10;  But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Luke 11:52;  Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

Hebrews 4:6;  Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

TWO:/   Jesus dealt with, took care of and solved the ultimate,
essential, fundamental, universal, root, core problem;

God's Word deals with, takes care of and solves the individual
sins problem;

Jesus dealt with the invisible, heavenly/spiritual things;

God's Word deals with, takes care of and solves the individual
sins problem; So that,

A./   In the salient area........
1 John 3:5;  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
and,
that's exactly what He accomplished and did !

Romans 8:2;  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

B./    THE PROBLEM BEING......
Hebrews 2:8-10;
8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

"now we see not yet all things put under him."

2 Peter 3:4;  ....for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

i.e. sin, death, lusts, corruption, etcc..........all yet remain: why ?

1./    Then, this apparent contradiction causes the natural, carnal, mind/man to stumble.

1 Peter 2:8;  And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

2 Peter 3:16;  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

and,
2./   The whole incongruency is interpreted naturally, in human terms of understanding (which is to say, not according to nor in accordance to nor with The Word of God).

THREE:/   THE CAUSE(s).........

   a./   Matthew 22:29;  Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

   b./   1 Peter 2:8;  And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

2 Peter 3:16;  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Mark 7:9;  And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

FOUR:/   THE SOLUTION(s).........

A:/     Understanding conversion, regeneration, translation
LINK -->Understanding conversion, regeneration, translation
http://neverbeundone.blogspot.com

B:/   The Understanding of what is meant by this doctrine of "translation"............
taken from an essay written to a pastor inquiring into what I mean by "sinlessness"
God has stated it: .....
This is The WORD of God...........
it is written...........
53./ (to)  61./  and 68./ and 69./ are the PRECURSORS
53./  Psalms 119:11 - Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
54./  John 7:18 - He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
55./  1 Corinthians 15:34 - Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
56./  Philippians 1:10 - That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
57./  James 3:17 - But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality,  and without hypocrisy.

58./  1 John 2:10 - He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
59./  2 Peter 3:14 - Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
60./   1 Thessalonians 5:23 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
61./  Philippians 2:15 - That ye may be blameless and harmless,  the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
62./   Ephesians 5:27 - That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
63./ (to)  65. are the IMPERATIVES
63./  1 John 3:6 - Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
64./    1 John 3:9 - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
65./    1 John 5:18 - We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

This is The WORD of God...........and,
there are many parallel and synonymous verses which state exactly the same inference ~ sin not. e.g.
Romans 6:6;  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:12; Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 13:14;  But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Ga 5:1; Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Galatians 5:13;  For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Galatians 5:17;  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

66./    THESE ARE BOTH THE ANSWER AND THE METHOD AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF SINLESSNESS; AND, HOW IT IS FIRST TAUGHT,
67./    It is the IMPERATIVES that give the precursors their weight and meaning.
68./   Hebrews 10:2 - because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
69./   John 9:41; Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

"Yes brother, but remember our transformation is not yet complete!"
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
and, this is true in the mundane and temporal sense of subjective reality here and now (as we know it to be) i.e.
Hebrews 2:8-10;

HOWEVER,  in the ultimate senses........
Acts 15:18;  Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
Colossians 2:10;  And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Hebrews 4:3

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

this matters because it sets the standard and the "high mark"  and, this mind set makes all the difference.

1 John 5:5 - Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

THESE ARE MINDSETS:
"faith cometh buy hearing and hearing by the WORD of God."
"faith is the substance of things hoped for"  once the ears, the mind, the heart, the soul and the spirit hears of faith, they are quickeded by the ( Jn.6:63;spirit and the life) of the word and very real biological, physiological changes occur which sets and establishes their standards and mindset.
THESE THING ARE TO BE KNOWN, UNDERSTOOD AND TAUGHT.
Romans 8:31 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:32 - He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
2 Peter 1:3 - According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
1 Thessalonians 5:24 - Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
THEREFORE
70./   1 Corinthians 5:7 - Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Isaiah 1:16 - Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
Hebrews 12:13 - And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
James 4:8 - Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Romans 8:13 - For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Hebrews 10:2 - because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
Colossians 2:20-22;
20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
TEACH IT; DO IT; LIVE IT; STAND BY IT; LIVE BY IT.
Proverbs 14:30 - A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
Isaiah 38:16 - O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
all these things matter because THEY MAKE AND ESTABLISH A DIFFERENCE.

HOW then, is "sinlessness" to be understood ?

2./    \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Please tell me directly: do you believe that Christians sin?
//////////////////////////////////////////

The body/creature of the believer may yet sin; and, the mind unrenewed by The WORD of God may perceive it as sin; HOWEVER, the body is spiritually and inherently dead; and, is thus FREE OF SIN;
Romans 6:7 - For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Romans 6:18 - Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Romans 6:22 - But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
DEAD TO SIN -
Romans 6:2 - God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
1 Peter 2:24 - Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

MEANING JUSTIFIED - just-if-i-ed never sinned.

71./   THE BATTLE IS NOW FOR THE MIND
John 15:3 - Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Ephesians 4:23 - And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Ephesians 5:26 - That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
1 Peter 1:23 - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
72./   Sin is no longer imputed.
Romans 4:8 - Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
2 Corinthians 5:19 - To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Hebrews 8:12 - For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Hebrews 10:17 - And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Philippians 3:13 - 14  14] Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before....

MEANING JUSTIFIED - just-if-i-ed never sinned.

73./    GOD DOES NOT SEE US AS SINNERS !!!
HE sees us as Jesus Christ.
74./   In this sense Pastor, Christians do not sin (because they are born of God and cannot sin) i.e, (spiritually). i.e. they are no longer in the flesh; thus, while the flesh may continue on in sin [ignorantly or not] the spirit does not.
75./   In the sense of Rom. 7:17,20;  Christians do not sin
76./  why is this ?
BECAUSE,
77./    Romans 8:9 - But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

Colossians 1:13; Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

and,

78./   is "NOT CORRUPTIBLE" !
1 Peter 3:4;  But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible,....

the hidden man of the heart
2 Corinthians 4:16;  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

C./   your spirit is no longer in the flesh, but, "in the Spirit"

How then can, could ever, how then does the spirit sin ? It is impossible that the spirit could sin within the Spirit.
THUS,
79./   THIS, is what is meant by
  1 John 3:6;  1 John 3:9; and, 1 John 5:18. + Rom. 7:17,20;

Romans 7:17;  Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Romans 7:20;Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

THUS,
1 John 3:6 - Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1 John 3:9 - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 5:18 - We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

D./   This "translation/regeneration"  renders the "spirit" free of "sin" !
Ro 6:18; Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Ro 6:22; But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Ro 8:2; For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Ga 5:1; Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

1./   This distinction/difference matters because.....

   a./   THE REDEMPTION OF THE BODY is by faith and hope for which we still yet await/wait for.
Ephesians 1:14; Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. to wit.....
the groaning........
Romans 8:22-24;

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
i.e.
2 Corinthians 5:1-3;

5 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

   b./     believing and faith are counted for righteous !

Romans 4:3;  For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Galatians 3:6;  Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

James 2:23; And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Romans 4:5; But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Mark 9:23;  Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

   c./     attaining to the THE REDEMPTION OF THE BODY is based upon obedience ! i.e.

accepting, believing, living by and obeying THE WORD of GOD = obeying ELOHIM ! and, THIS ! is what it's all about !

while,

   d./     What Christian -vs- carnal means is.........

Christian means........
spiritual i.e. Romans 8
converted, regenerated, translated, spirit saved; soul and body being saved under understood volition and impetus of Elohim and His will and WORD actively functioning within your being, walk and life; sinless and deathless.

or, carnal, i.e. Romans 7, meaning......
converted, regenerated, translated, spirit saved; soul and body being saved under understood impetus of Elohim and His will; while the WORD is being neglected, denied, wrested, and refused by the individual and passively functioning within their being, walk and life; = the being [i.e. the creature] not sinless and not deathless yet, not-with-standing the "spirit" is still removed from the sins of the body,being,creature, and it's sin, yet the " spirit" remains free from sin/dead to sin and thus sinless none-the-less. Thus,

While the term "Christian" can and may mean both; the only correct meaning is "spiritual" i.e Christ-like = like Jesus Christ !
