ONE:/ "Christians, that consider themselves to remain sinners (even after Salvation /conversion)"
A./ This is more of an oxymoron than it is a simile in fact, state or reality; i.e.
1st./ [the figure of speech ~ Christians, that consider themselves to remain sinners] is a paradox in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction. Which, gives rise to and is the inceptual clue that alerts the mind to the inference that something is amiss here, awry and not quite right. Then,
2nd./ Speaking from a strictly scriptural standpoint in it's strictest terms we have....... 3 distinctly irrefutable and indisputable verses which deny, denounce and abnegates the supposition and/or proposition that Christians are sinners !
2./ 1 John 3:9 - Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
3./ 1 John 5:18 - We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Now then,
3rd./ Most [all] [the ecclesia] instead of seeking to and/or trying to understand and conceive of what these verses are saying in an effort to come to terms with them and explain them [in truth], instead, they merely exercise their considerable talents and powers to explain them away. [as they do with most imperative verses]
Because,
either,
1./ Salvation is not what it's held to be and/or understood to be [which, for the ecclesia in our modern day and age is simply preposterous and untenable] or else,...........
2./ the mind is simply not seeing enough, grasping enough, conceiving enough, knowing enough nor understanding enough to get at what exactly is meant by Salvation [which, for the ecclesia in our modern day and age is simply preposterous and untenable] or else,...........
3./ it's simply not their point to nor their intention to do so [preferring things the way they are] and just simply don't care nor care to and/or simply don't want to see enough, grasp enough, conceive enough, know enough nor understand enough to get at what exactly is meant by Salvation
[preferring to be and remain "willingly ignorant" so as to avoid accountability, (liabilities) and consequences for being responsible ~ preferring rather the consequences for being [ir]responsible] or else,...........
4./ the church is merely in it's fallen state, or else,...........
5./ these who teach and propagate such teachings [heresies] as mentioned at [ ONE:/] above are either.........
antichrists, false teachers, false brethren, false apostles, false prophets and hence NOT Christians at all ! i.e. perdition, or else,...........
6./ maybe we're still just "babes in Christ" and "ignorant" [however, not such a good state to be in] not-with-standing [which is at least forgiveable] 1 Timothy 1:13; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. or else,...........
7./ willingly ignorant ~ 1 Corinthians 14:38; But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. "blind leaders of the blind"
Matthew 15:14; Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
8./ Maybe humanistic mankind is simply not able to make the right exactions as to what exactly Salvation applies e.g. the differentiations and degrees of Salvation, or else,...........
9./ all of the above -or- just some of the above,......... or else,...........
10./ maybe, as the scripture has stated, it's simply this........
2 Corinthians 4:3-4;
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
-or- perhaps more sternly as the Lord Jesus Christ has put it......
John 8:38-45;
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

a./ and, what does this exactly speak to ? "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of" Luke 9:54-56;..........
b./ God hath placed the "whole world" within our heart..........
Ecclesiastes 3:11; He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
every thought, feeling, sense, experience, mode, temperament, behavior, manner, characteristic, aspect, facet, is a "spirit" ! in which we walk transitively every day ! -or-
c./ Was it "perdition" to which He spoke ? for, "only one is lost".........i.e. perdition !
John 17:12; While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
d./ So that, when Paul spoke, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4;

He spoke this to only "perdition".
And, Jesus, when He spoke, John 8:38-45; spoke this only to perdition" John 17:12;
11./ What do I believe the cause to be for why so many believe they can be Christians and sinners at the same time ?
