Romans 7:24 Gen. 3:22; He. 5:14;
Genesis 3:22; And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:
Romans 7:25; I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Hebrews 5:14; But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Thus,
FIRST:/ the heart is both good and evil !
ONE:/ This depiction of the heart is meant to reflect and show the deep inner heart aspect. Whereas, this one
is meant to reflect and show the cumulative collective sum heart which includes both the inner heart and the subjective, collective sum. And,
A./ This deep inner heart
is both good and evil ! reflected by the inner aspects godly and/or ungodly. And,
and,
C./ To give this sum heart depiction referential orientation, sum heart = outer man
and,
D./ Looking into the core heart
again, and expanding so as to show the two sided nature of our heart, both [godly=good] and/or [ungodly=evil]
1./ good man =
Such that,
3./ your decided, chosen ethos = your prefernce(s)=the man(type) ~ as either........
a./ good ethos or, b./ evil ethos
E./ Evil heart
= evil man
evil heart=evil man-type mankind
carnally minded
minding the things of the flesh = outer man
outer man = "body of sin"
Romans 6:6; Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Romans 7:5; For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Romans 7:23; But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Romans 7:25; I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
natural man, unsaved, "in the flesh"
minding the things of this world and of man = what they know naturally;
walking in and with sin
earthy
sensual
minding earthly things
F./ Good heart
= good man
1./ this mankind = the spirit walking "in the Spirit" "living in and under the impetus of "The Godhead"
a./ notice, here that the "body" side of the equation is missing; i.e. "your spirit" has been removed from the flesh [when and once saved] and now resided "in [inside] "The Spirit"
this man is...
spiritually minded
minding the things of "the Spirit" = John 6:63;
walking in and with "The Godhead" =
Psalms 26:11 - But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me
Psalms 86:11 - Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
Zechariah 10:12 - And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.
2 Corinthians 6:16 - And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
John 14:21 - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Malachi 3:1 - Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
THE SECOND APPEARING !
Hebrews 9:28 - So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
heavenly
divine nature
2 Peter 1:3-11;
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
minding heavenly things
Matthew 6:33; But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Colossians 3:2; Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Colossians 3:1 - If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Peter 1:3-11;

1 Peter 2:2; As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
1 Peter 1:23; Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Revelation 2:5; Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
b./ notice, here, also, that the "body" side of the equation is missing; i.e.
this is of very imperative significance since it establishes the basis and precedent for ~
Romans 8:10; And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
because, as we read in ~ James 2:26;
James 2:26; For as the body without the spirit is dead, .....
but,
Romans 8:10; .... the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Romans 8:11; But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Such that,
c./ James 2:26; establishes the basis and precedent for ~ Romans 8:10.
because, I./ The spirit of the saved is "no longer ["in the flesh"] ~
Romans 8:9; But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
and, II./ Since, Romans 8:9; But ye are not in the flesh,....
ye are no longer "in sin" because, sin resides in the flesh.
Therefore, III./ We have been freed from sin; and, are dead to sin !
• being dead to sin Ro. 6:2,7;7:6,17,20; 1 Pe. 2:24;
•• being free from the law itself + free of the law of sin and of the law of death ~ Rom. 6:14,15, 22; 7:4,6,8; 8:2; Col. 2:14; 1 Pe. 4:1;
••• Ro. 7:8; apart from the law sin is dead;
••••Ro 6:18; Being then made free from sin,…sinlessness 1 John 3:6,9; 5:18;
Romans 6:18; Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Romans 6:22; But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Romans 8:2; For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
dead to sin
Romans 6:2; God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
1 Peter 2:24; Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
cp.
Romans 7:6; But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Therefore, IV./ This, again, is what it means to be "sinless".
SECONDLY:/ The [our] spirit hasn't left the body [literally] [technically] which means ~ I live, shed free from sin, the body of sin and of death.
Romans 8:2; For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Galatians 2:20; I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Romans 6:13; Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
ONE:/ What this means then is as follows ~
A./ it [our spirit] has merely been translate [sanctified/set apart] as taken up inside ["THE SPIRIT"] inside Christ, inside God the Father, inside the Divine Nature !
=
Romans 8:2; For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Galatians 2:20; I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Romans 6:13; Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
B./ God gives to Jesus [The Son] all things, who then gives to [The Spirit] who then bears witness with [our spirit] imparting The Word, testimony, witness and revelation ~ the abilitiy [to hear] and to speak these things !
1 Corinthians 2:9; But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:10; But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
C./ This very same Spirit quickens our very mortal bodies !
Romans 8:10; And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
2 Corinthians 4:11; For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
John 1:4,9,16. Thus,
1./ I live !
